An overview of the general flow, look, and feel of gameplay
Upon starting a game, character creation will be one of the first things the player does.
This will determine the PC's appearance and some starting stats or traits.
It will also determine the PC's starting location
In game Achievements may unlock some starting boons like favorable starting locations, higher trainable stats, unique traits, and so on
The next thing the player will want to do is customize their experience
There will be a lot of ways that the player can tailor this, but it's mainly intended as a way to remove triggers and squicks from their playthrough.
For accessibility purposes, there will be theme options such as dark and light modes, font options, color blind options, and no flashing images options.
There will be the option for a cheat mode, but it may render some achievements unobtainable
This will likely be the first thing the PC sees when starting the game. Some starting locations may throw the player into an encounter right off the bat, but that's currently undecided.
The overworld is where the player explores and interacts with the world. There will be various notable parts to the overworld screen.
There will be a closeup of the PC's face and their current expression which will be determined by stats and personality
