These stats will be what rule a player's actions, abilities, and NPC reactions. All character stats are intended to mimic the human psyche and capabilities. Just like someone needs to manage themself in real life, the PC will need to manage their stats in order to maintain the desired state of body and mind.
Variable stats:
These change rapidly and constantly through regular gameplay, particularly encounters
Most values have at least one other value that directly relates to it
Each stat has an ideal value where it will facilitate a standard playthrough that makes sense. Most stats have unique and sometimes extreme effects when brought to its max or minimum.
